Press and Reviews

“Have you heard the local band Legacy? Well i'm here to tell you that you need to, they have jumped leaps and bounds the past couple years crafting their new Cd "One"!

I was sent the songs a few weeks ago to see what i thought and i did not want to send out a review that i was not fully vested in, so here is my thoughts on it.

The addition of longtime local front man Brett Inman has made a huge difference for starters and mixing his voice and writing with the other 4 talented veterans in this band and you have a recipe for something good.

I think this album is label worthy..not a bad song, great production, great artwork and just a overall kick ass vibe to it!

The standout out songs to me were "Rage", "Starlight", "Stand In Line", "Shutting Down" and "Room Without A Window" is a masterpiece. To make things even better for the fans they will be giving these full packaged cd's away at their show tomorrow night at Gas Monkey Bar And Grill and i think other shows after that as well as a thanks for buying a ticket to the show!

There are some fantastic local bands putting out magnificent Cd's this year, Don't miss out on all the excellent original bands DFW has to offer because you only want to go see cover bands, this scene could make some waves this year!”

Went out to the Richie Kotzen show last night and picked up the new Legacy album entitled One. Not only is this the local album of the year it’s just as good as any national release in recent memory.

Highlights are many including Into The Night and the epic How It All Ends but the absolute standout track is All Or Nothing. One of the best songs I’ve ever heard come out of DFW. If you are a fan of Melodic Hard Rock you need this album.

Frontiers should sign this band ASAP as they destroy most of the similar styled artist they release. These guys deserve it and drummer Kenny Sizelove is one of the nicest guys in this business and has put in more than enough time. Live they deliver as well with killer guitar work and pitch perfect backing vocals that are not fake...what a concept. Even though I think it’s crazy they are giving away the CD for free at every show so you have no excuse.

Look for a Infidel Rising/ Legacy show in the near future.

The long awaited Legacy debut album One, will release on April 26th 2018. These five talented musicians have put their heart, soul and love for rock n’ roll into One. Without a doubt this release is combined with the blood, sweat and tears of life’s challenges.

This 11 track compilation with its 10 blistering songs were written and recorded over the course of two years. Kicking it off is “All or Nothing” a tune that resonates with me as I may have lived this song in my 30s. Needless to say the lyrics speak volumes!

Now the third track on this album is absolutely my jam! “Into The Night”, with a hell of a GREAT drum intro to the raging riffs, this tune has been dispersed through the DFW area via driving with the windows down and volume to a level of possibly shattering my windshield. “One” is an exquisite instrumental “intro” if you will, into the following track “Rage”. The power and conviction of “Rage” is an invigorating fist pumper.

Closing out this masterpiece of bad-assery are two songs “Stand In Line” and “Starlight”. “Stand In Line”, oh my damn the guitar solos by Scott Sereboff and Chris Siggins in this jam is phenomenal and Kenny Sizelove is absolutely killing it on the kit. “Starlight” has some great vocal harmonies by vocalist Brett Inman and a great closing song for One.

As Legacy has said, One is just the first chapter in a book that has many different sides. I believe that. It has something for everyone. These five talents know exactly how to convey a powerful message.
